Master's Degree Course Previews at UTAR

  Got this flyer from Ms. Samantha during the FACON Education Fair visited last week.

Master's Degree Course Previews
Did some research online and printed out the Application Form.
Decided to enroll the MBA programme in UTAR and going to submit the application form during the course previews the day itself. The open day and course previews are located at Block PD, Level B1.

The following are the documents need to submit together with the application form.

1. Certified true copy of Identity Card (front and back);
2. Certified true copy of the full official transcript of the academic record and certificates;
3. Certified true copy of SPM certificate;
4. Referee Forms from the two referees (in sealed and signed envelopes);
5. Non-refundable processing fee of RM60;
6. Four passport-sized colour photographs;
7. Two self-addressed envelopes, one measuring 7" x 10" affixed with RM1.50 stamp and another measuring 3.5" x 6" affixed with RM0.60 stamp;
8. And of course, the completed Application Form itself.

For those document(s) that need to be certified true copy, just bring along the original document(s) and show them to the officer; for my case, Mr. Loh Yeong Ying (lohyy@utar.edu.my). He will be very kind to assist in certified the document(s). Please make your own necessary photocopies for the submitted document(s).

Moreover, you can paid the RM60 in cash to the finance personnel stationed during the open day.

For my two referees wise, I requested them from my employer(s) Mr. Vincent and En. Zul. So, there was no issue on that. Act proactively!

During the MBA course preview, I met Dr. Lee Siew Peng (leesp@utar.edu.my), Head of Programme (MBA); and discussed some personal issue regarding my pre-planned family oversea trip on early December 2013; which might clash with the exam week.

In conclusion, I might need to defer the intake to January 2014 next year, because once the exam date are fixed, there is no way to change that. And, there is no way you can confirm when will be the subject's final examination until two weeks before the study week.
